Certified Nursing Assistant Training
Our classes have been evaluated by the Utah Nursing Assistant Registry and comply with
all necessary requirements. Our class sizes do not exceed 12 students to enable more
individualized instruction. Our skills room is large with 3 beds, manikins, and all other
supplies in order to practice the skills needed when providing cares to patients.
Classes are three weeks in length Monday-Thursday
Day 9am-3pm
Evening 4pm-9pm
Saturday only classes are 8 weeks in length
Clinicals for this class follow times as stated below
8am-4pm
Clinicals are held at Highland Care Center every Friday (Sundays by appointment only)
Schedule:
6am-2pm
4pm-8pm
16 hours are required to complete your clinicals
***classes are held everyday except for national and state holidays***
Requirements:
- You must be at least 16 years of age (16-17 must have parental permission)
- Provide proof of negative or inactive T.B. test results in the last 6 months
- Provide current food handlers permit
- $50.00 deposit to reserve your place in the course
- $400.00 cost of course (payment arrangements available
Supplies:
- Blood Pressure Cuff
- Stethescope
- Gait belt
- Scrubs (red or black top, no requirement on pants)
These items may be purchased here on site or through Freedom Uniform company (15% off regular store prices)
Course includes:
- Book (may be purchased for $50.00 or rented, $40.00 buy back)
- CPR through American Heart Association
- First Aid through American Heart Association
